We were here for a day to watch a hockey tournament directly across from the guesthouse so didn't feel the need to pay for accommodation with any other amenities other than what we got in our double room with ensuite. Bit of a walk to town if you were carless but from what I could see a beautifully equipped kitchen, relaxing room with a huge selection of books. Breakfast and lunch was accommodated with the three week old Mixture Eatery at the end of Hinau Street. You could easily pick up something for tea and reheat it in the kitchen later. Shower was fabulous and clean and hot.

Room Tip: Towels are provided. Try and book direct with the guesthouse so you can choose a room more appropriate for you.

Dear happy guest. Thanks for a great review. The new Mixture Cafe on the corner has quickly become our favorite also. Cheers. Paul

Stop over in Tauranga for the night. Accomodate was homely, secure, and cosy. Bed was firm, but extremely warm. Shower was hot. Staff greeted you with a smile. What more could you ask for?
Totally recommend, and would definitely stay again.....thank you

Very clean with lovely people. Safe and warm. I meet great people here. Lovely French and Canadian, German, from all over. It is owned by a couple who also have a backpackers in Argentina and have come back to NZ about 2yrs ago. They aim to make this a family friendly environment more aimed towards that scene rather than just a lot of human traffic moving through i.e. backpacking. Just a bit more of a relaxed and safe environment. Lovely people.

Loved my stay here!

We did the Mt Manganui Summit track and was able to reach there by taking the 30 bus on the main road, and was able to walk back home through the mall.

Seagulls is located wihin a nice walking distance to the mall, located right by the Mana Bus stop, convenient even by Baystopper buses to and from Tauranga, and nice clean bathrooms & comfy bed.
