We had a wonderful stay in Dec 21 at Taj Madikeri. The view from the lobby is spectacular and no words can do enough justice. Being holiday season, we really enjoyed our evenings at the lobby soaking in the views with the complimentary snack & drink. It would be great if the hotel can make this a regular feature.

The 2 Bed family suites are perfect when travelling in a larger group. The views from our room were lovely.

We enjoyed all the paid activities - zipline, kayaking, archery, pottery, the early morning hike and the nature walk.

We enjoyed dining at the Fern and Dew and in room dining also was a pleasure.

I compliment GM - Mr Shaun Cooper and his entire team - at check in, at the restaurants and housekeeping for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Duty Manager - Mr Anirudh and the F&B Director deserve a mention. So also does Ms Daphine from housekeeping.

We would love to return some day.

The property is amazing ans the staff is super courteous especially the chef - 10/10. However since we went while they were operating with limited restaurants due to covid the breakfast buffet at Ferntree was supremely underwhelming. The Grill and their Dal Makhni with Lahori Naan has to be the highlight of the meals. Ferntree food was average and even the Kodava thaali was below expectations. The spa and the indoor pool are spectacular and so are the rooms! Overall a very good experience if you aren’t as big on food as we are

Great Resort. The Key differential is the people. Very young team led by a dynamic GM. Very enthusiastic. The Taj hospitality at its legendary best. Exemplary team indeed. One of a kind setting. Very Picturesque.
