My husband and I visit Cornwall every year & this trip was our second with our daughter (aged 3). The property was ideal for her & the facilities meant even on rainy days we were kept occupied in the swimming pool & hot tub. This was the first time we had been to Kengie Manor & cannot fault the staff who seem to be just like family and for the price & location its an ideal base to your Cornwall holiday. Number 39 was a lovely cottage, well equipped & cleaned to a very high standard & the owner & key holder were both very friendly &helpful. The stay was a “try before you buy” holiday for us & we’ve now bought a cottage on the site so I think that says it all. Cannot wait to return & join the Kenegie family
Excellent accomodation, good on-site facilities and good location for exploring the West Penwith and Lizard Peninsulas. Only downside is lack of safe walking route into Gulval and Penzance. Good local taxi service compensates for this, though.
Good location for visiting South and West Cornwall. Nearby locations include Marazion, St Michaels Mount, Penzance, Minack Theatre, Tin mining locations, Lands End.
The site offers a club house and bar ( good, inexpensive food and drink), excellent mini-shop ( stocking everything you might need), swimming pool, launderette, tennis courts, nice grounds, excellent parking.
Basic accommodation, however extremely clean and tidy. Good central location to various beaches/attractions.
Parking plenty (so hard to get in Cornwall properties)
Beds really comfy (so rare to sleep as well as at home) high quality bedding, plenty of good pillows.
Loads of kitchen equipment too.
Only thing that could have made it better would be black out/better curtains, was very difficult sometimes to get children to sleep as it is the summer and outside is light. Unable to make blind work in small bedroom.
Also could maybe get cold in winter? No central heating.
However everything else was really lovely, fresh, well maintained, lovely attention to detail in cleaning, bedding etc.
Thanks so much!
Will defo use again!
