“Wow!”
Reviewed 18 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

What an amazing place to stay for a week. The owners left a very thoughtful welcome pack for us including some delicious home made marmalade - thank you laura. The personal welcome on the day of arrival was also very much appreciated.

The cottage is very luxurious, every thing you could ever possibly need, a real home from home. The owners have thought of everything including a fantastic selection of books, games and DVDs should there be a rainy day. There was also an amazing selection of tourist information leaflets to help us plan days out.

The beach at camber is beautiful, miles of soft golden sand. We planned to eat at the Gallivant on our last night but it was closed for a private function so it's worth checking in advance if you wish to eat there.

An amazing week and we hope to return next year.

“Nice clean new house with everything you need”

We were the first to stay at this holiday let. The cottage is a new build, the inside is nicely presented with a good array of facilities. The beds were comfortable, the main bathroom had an excellent shower, the kitchen diner had a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. The property is easy to find on a new estate off the main road through Camber. The garden is small but a perfect place to sit out in the evening. The beach at Camber is world renowned and just a 7 or 8 minute walk away albeit over some high dunes. Most evenings we ate at the cottage but when we did go out it was to the Green Owl which was very good. Other than the beach there is not much else in Camber but there is plenty to see and do within an hours drive. We particularly enjoyed the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway and the trip to Herstmonceaux science centre.
