Highly recommend a stay at this inn - everything was lovely, from the spacious and well-appointed rooms to the restaurant. We only wish we'd had more time to enjoy the place. We had everything we needed in immaculately clean rooms. Everything was spotless and tea service was replenished daily. The food was great - both dinner and breakfast. Lovely old inn setting - very welcoming and comfortable! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Highly recommend the room, restaurant and bar were very welcoming. Food was served well and enjoyable. All staff were friendly and professional. Coffee from the bar was excellent which is rare to find. The place as great curb appeal.

Wonderful room, very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The main bar area was cosy and relaxed. Only stayed one night but the food was excellent. A very enjoyable stay and will be back again.

Really nice country pub which serves decent enough food. The breakfasts are pretty good also. The rooms are clean and well equipped with nice furniture and a comfortable bed. However, it was let down by the poor sound proofing from the rooms directly above. We had to wait for the guests above to retire for the night before we could get to sleep. Shame really as it was otherwise very good.

Room Tip: Always ask for an upstairs room - if possible.

A great pub full of character. Modern bedroom warm and very clean with crisp white bedding which afforded a great nights sleep. Don't be put off by the main road. Lovely array of coffee, teas and bottled water in the room. Breakfast and evening meal had a great gluten free menu without compromise, and a gluten free bottled beer, Wadsworth 6X Gold was very crisp. Staff were all very accommodating and a pub that on my travels will surely return to.
