Highly recommend the room, restaurant and bar were very welcoming. Food was served well and enjoyable. All staff were friendly and professional. Coffee from the bar was excellent which is rare to find. The place as great curb appeal.

Wonderful room, very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The main bar area was cosy and relaxed. Only stayed one night but the food was excellent. A very enjoyable stay and will be back again.

Really nice country pub which serves decent enough food. The breakfasts are pretty good also. The rooms are clean and well equipped with nice furniture and a comfortable bed. However, it was let down by the poor sound proofing from the rooms directly above. We had to wait for the guests above to retire for the night before we could get to sleep. Shame really as it was otherwise very good.

Room Tip: Always ask for an upstairs room - if possible.

A great pub full of character. Modern bedroom warm and very clean with crisp white bedding which afforded a great nights sleep. Don't be put off by the main road. Lovely array of coffee, teas and bottled water in the room. Breakfast and evening meal had a great gluten free menu without compromise, and a gluten free bottled beer, Wadsworth 6X Gold was very crisp. Staff were all very accommodating and a pub that on my travels will surely return to.

Excellent accommodation, all spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious, with plenty of hanging & drawer space & 2 chairs. The tea making facility offered a choice of teas & coffees, plus a sachet of ground coffee & a small cafetiere - a nice touch. En-suite was similarly roomy & had a selection of toiletries, plus a bottle of water. Add to all that, friendly and efficient staff, a wide variety of food on offer at breakfast & an extensive dinner menu.
The inn is on the A435 between Cirencester & Cheltenham but the only time we noticed any traffic noise was early morning (around 7- 7.30am) as our room faced the road. However, it did not disturb us unduly.
On this particular trip we stayed at 2 different hotels & this one was definitely the better of the 2.
