I recently visited Hampi and was so grateful to be able to return to this hotel after spending a day site seeing the Hampi ruins with temperatures in the high thirties.
The rooms and bed were comfortable. The laundry was done excellently.
The highlight was the friendliness of the staff, especially at reception and the kitchen and restaurant staff.

Hyatt Place Hampi is an ideal choice for those seeking an excellent place to stay at the certain area. Lives up to the famous hotel brand.
Unfortunately , during my stay, my room floor was very noise especially at night.

We stayed for 2 nights at Hyatt place. It was Holi festival and we were received by Ms.Lakshmi with colours in her hand,fantastic feeling.Thnx F&B team esp Pankaj,Neeti, you guys rock.Food was ok didn't live up to Hyatt's standard.The rooms was neat and clean and amenities were fine. Just that fixtures etc looked little run down but that's maintenance so didn't affect our stay. Not very far from Hampi took us 50 minutes one way.
Good to see the rooftop lined with artificial turf looked somewhat natural.
Overall a good hotel with sincere and caring staff. Thanks and we will come back again.

Stayed here for 1 night during a business visit to the city. My office had messed up and by mistake booked me on a one month later date; a mistake which got unnoticed till i landed up at the hotel to check in. The front desk supervisor was extremely helpful and immediately understood this was a mistake and rectified the same. The stay was very comfortable and the staff is super courteous. Good Job Guys!

This review / rating is mainly for the restaurant and what they had to offer during our trip. Our stay experience which was overall satisfying was marred by the F & B department. Food was a big let down. Most of the dishes were cold and lacked taste. Repetitive items on the menu. Unfortunately today's dinner was part of next day's breakfast. Not what one expects in a star rated property such as hyatt.

There is so much that can be done by a hospitality space in a place like hampi. Incorporating some local cuisine and flavours would have been novel. Guess that will be too far fetched considering the current standards. Am sure the international guests too will look forward to such experiences.

Some upfront feedback to folks at the restaurant is to do away with artificial PR by offering "We will Miss you" cakes to young guests. Not when you do not even know the name of the child and the dessert carrying the message is a stale one from previous days menu.

There is much left to be done to improve the gourmet / culinary standards.

Apart from this, the hotel per say was quite nice. Well kept. Compact pool. Simple gym.

Good luck with improvements.
