This was our Third hotel stop for one night. Not a bad little hotel a bit tired but the room was clean. A very nice area with lovely rolling hills all around. The food and wine was very good and the breakfast was also good.
As we arrived late we asked if they could make a packed lunch which the owners did for us and for 7 euro it was excellent.

We had stayed here before and it was good with a great restaurant, unfortunately for us our booking was for a Wednesday night and their restaurant is closed on Wednesday's, not to worry Saint Jean Pied De Port is only 3km away with plenty of restaurants and the Xoko-Goxoa is a great small hotel in a pretty village setting. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly owner and told him we had stayed here before in 2010, my wife and I were travelling with our daughter and granddaughter, the owner then told us as a special treat he would open the restaurant for us tonight, what great service, the only others in the restaurant that night were the owner and his family, and we felt like part of the family. The rooms are a bit on the small side but comfortable and the location and service make up for any negatives.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor no problems, the first floor may be better if you have a lot of luggage.

Could not get into St Jean Pied de Port so we stayed here for 3 nights. A beautiful setting in a quiet village. Gorgeous views from our room, the dining room, and the terrace.

Pasco is an excellent chef. Betty is the perfect hostess. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Beautiful silent landscape, you only hear the small river behind the hotel during the night. Good place to stay when you visit st jean pied de porc. Excellent food for very reasonable prize. Simple hotel, but with everything you would need.
