Could not get into St Jean Pied de Port so we stayed here for 3 nights. A beautiful setting in a quiet village. Gorgeous views from our room, the dining room, and the terrace.

Pasco is an excellent chef. Betty is the perfect hostess. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Beautiful silent landscape, you only hear the small river behind the hotel during the night. Good place to stay when you visit st jean pied de porc. Excellent food for very reasonable prize. Simple hotel, but with everything you would need.

Found this small hotel through Logis. The only amenity in a small village set in the mountains with beautiful views from the hotel veranda and from our balcony. The hotel is run by a pleasant couple and offers clean, tidy rooms. Ours had a double bed, small shower room, a small balcony and ample storage space. I liked the idea of headphones for the room TV to avoid disturbance to other guests. Not the smartest of furnishings but adequate. We were passing through but others were there for walking and cycling holidays, and appeared to be well looked after. Breakfasts are simple and evening meals, served inside or on the veranda, good although relatively expensive if you go a la carte. Ample carparking and free wifi. Happy to recommend.

Room Tip: "Comfort" rooms have a veranda and may be a little larger than others.

great place to stay close to Saint Jean Pied de Port (4km at least). Good location, close to this wonderful small town, all quiet around. Very nice rooms with pleasant details, and kind people! Recommended.

This Logis de France hotel set in a charming village, and run by a very friendly husband and wife team, was the perfect place to spend a couple of days. After sightseeing in the busy St Jean Pied de Port (great to visit, but full of tourists and souvenir shops), it was good to sit in the hotel garden for our evening meals which were excellent - the sanglier (boar) was particularly good. We strolled around the village after our meals and one evening were fortunate to watch some pelote being played (typical Basque sport). The hotel room was comfortable and clean and looked out onto the Pyrenees. It was very hot whilst we were there, but a fan had been provided as there was no air conditioning, and fortunately we had only one flight of stairs to cope with so it's best not to take in too much luggage in case you are on the next floor! The staff were very helpful regarding tourist information - there is a wine route from Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry, a cheese route, and we also made 27km trip to Roncevalles in Spain. We would definitely go back again to this hotel and we would like to thank the hosts for making our stay so memorable. Thoroughly ecommended.
