I have just returned from Venice where I stayed in Ca’Cristallina in San Polo with a friend and my son. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our accommodation, it really did exceed all our expectations.
Communication with Sara before our visit was very prompt and helpful and as pre-arranged we were met at Piazzale Roma by Luca who walked with us to the apartment and spent time, although it was quite late in the evening, showing us around the apartment which was beautifully clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. The apartment consisted of two very large bedrooms, a double bed in one as well as a small single bed and two twin beds in the other. We had a bathroom with shower, wash handbasin, toilet and bidet. There was a sitting room with television, a dining room with large table and six chairs, and a kitchen again with a large table and chairs which we sat around for breakfast, discussing our day, a dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Every type of cooking utensil and crockery was provided. All linens and towels were provided.
The apartment is situated in a quiet part of Venice, very close to the Frari Church and the vaporetto stop of San Toma. It’s in a small off the beaten track calle so there is no noise at night. We slept very well. There are many shops, bars and restaurants and a big Conad supermarket very, very close.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying in this lovely apartment again.
