Went for 7 days 6 nights couldn’t have asked for better weather . Amado (the pool activity instructor) is the man. He even played some basketball with me and my buddy one morning for a little bit, careful he can ball so don’t expect to beat him. Food is great can’t go wrong with any restaurant Italian was my favorite, great activities throughout the day. Also have to mention Arturo great guy and event coordinator. Can’t stress Amado and Arturo more, if anyone goes here whatever you need catch these guys if you can.

This place was awful. Service was terrible. The rooms were small and dewy. The food was terrible. Its a resort so you would think the pool bar would be available. Nope. We had to wait literally over an hour for lunch and breakfast due to bad service. The beach setup was subpar. Do not go here.

The hotel was clean and the staff was always extremely courteous and helpful. Frandy did a great job as our butler. It was my wife’s birthday and he made sure to bring cake, Champaign, and decorate the room to make her feel special. Our only complaint is that there wasn’t really anything to do after dinner.

We just spent 10 days at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, this was hands down the best, most accommodating vacation I have ever been on. We knew that we chose the right place when we arrived at the airport, not having to lift a bag & having our driver right out front ready to take us to the resort.
Arriving at the resort we were greeted by our butler Frandy, we became FRIENDS with Frandy by the end of our trip & will continue to keep in touch with him from here on out, he was the most welcoming person after a long few flights & getting acclimated to new surroundings, it was like he would read our minds & was NEVER too pushy, he always just wanted to make sure that we didn't need ANYTHING from ice to beer to champagne to covid tests to return to dinner & breakfast recommendations we knew we could ALWAYS count on Frandy if we had any questions.

The resort was impeccable, our room was perfect, we had a swim out pool on the first floor so access to the beach & pool in the mornings was super simple.

In the mornings we would usually go to Mercado or the Pier for breakfast, both are buffets & there are a wide variety of options, Fernando was VERY accommodating at Mercado.

For dinner we tried all the restaurants which none disappointed but our favorite was probably hibachi & waves ( steakhouse )

When we would get to the pool in the morning around 10:00AM, there was always someone there to offer us chairs as well as an umbrella for shade due to the heat.
Roberto the server at the main pool was AMAZING, we NEVER had an empty drink & he was ALWAYS coming around checking on us. Other amazing servers at the pool were JOSE LUIS & ROSITA, they all would go out of there way to deliver us our drinks in the pool if that's where we were.

During the day there were different activities that you could participate in, in the morning, aqua aerobics, cornhole, bingo, painting on the beach, archery & much more. There was a event team that would go around rounding people up for each activity & this is where we met AQUA MAN-aka RANSEL, Ransel became like a Frandy to us, we were sad to leave him when we had to say our goodbyes-he is a DEDICATED, hard worker that wants guests to ENJOY there time. There was never ANY pressure when being asked to play a game or do a activity, it was come as you want, but they were always full because of the staff & how interacting they were with the guests.
Other staff in the event part of our trip that stood out & were phenomenal was:
Bryan & Amado

Overall-I would go back next month if I could, it certainly wasn't the first & last time we will be at the hyatt zilara cap cana.

I typically don't write reviews, especially as long as this, but all the staff mentioned above deserves it because they are the BEST

Terrific staff, excellent service, beautiful and well-maintained property, generally excellent in every way. We booked through Delta vacation packages through which we purchased Club access, which we enjoyed. Based on this trip, we're seriously considering making this an annual visit.
