We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in beautiful surrounds. The restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price has a stunning view and we enjoyed listeningto the sounds of the rain forest. We swam in the nearby river and were treated to a visit by a troop of monkeys that was most entertaining. Thank you Nat for being so helpful and making our stay memorable.

Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had a great view. We booked a private car to pick us up from the train station. Although the reception was not open when we arrived (at 2 in the morning), the owner met us to let us in the room. The next day, she checked to make sure that the driver had been there to meet us when we arrived and that the drive was okay. She also checked on the quality of the tours we booked through her (which were all wonderful). The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the national park and there are several mini-marts, internet cafe's, ATMs and restaurants along the way.

My family and I had a great experience here at Khao Sok Paradise Resort. The rooms were very clean and functional. We didn't spend much time in ours because we were so busy with all the other activities. This was an ideal spot for my 8 1/2 and 7 year old who thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food was fabulous and catered wonderfully to one picky eater. Our Treehouse was a little bit of a tight squeeze with us and two children, but we managed. We did the Gibbon Call package, which was tailored to our timing and needs. The night Safari was wonderful and the kids counted 26 different wonderful things, not for the faint hearted though. Scorpions, Spiders and Snakes were seen. A visit to the lake was spectacular with swimming in the lake, kayaking, lunch and a trip to the caves. A canoeing trip down the river, visit to feed the monkeys. The elephant trek was fabulous, except the elephant drivers seemed a little jaded. My son and I really enjoyed the cooking class. A great experience and adventure away from the normal experiences of Thailand. We will be recommending this to all our friends visiting Thailand. Thank you Nattanit and Po

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us in Khao Sok and thanks for sharing pictures of the resort with other Trip Advisor users online.
We are planning to build a more spacious Tree House before the summer holidays with a bigger balcony facing the Khao Sok Mountains and a more spacious bed room
I will pass your regards to the staff, they are for sure our most valuable asset.

We hope we will have the chance to welcome you back in the National park.

We had a lovely time staying in the family tree house. It was set up perfectly for our family of 5. It was clean, contained wonderful mosquito nets, 2 bathrooms, fans, and a connecting hallway. We personally loved our resident bats in one of the bathrooms but travelers should be aware that you are in the jungle and these critters do join you. We walked into town and it made me appreciate this resort even more as its quiet and family friendly and out of the row of bars, massage parlors, etc that I would not want to be near when visiting the jungle.
Nat and the staff were just amazing. They were attentive and great to the children. As small problems arose, they got things fixed efficiently and professionally.

We did the Gibbon Call Package which included a number of tours and activities. The lake trip with YaYa was fabulous, the elephant trekking was great and with only 4 elephants it is intimate and well run, the cooking class was exceptional as they embraced my boys and got them so excited to cook. The river canoe trip (I'm relieved it was canoing and not tubing) was fantastic. The monkey feeding for small kids is not recommended although my kids were dying to do it, as the semi-domesticated monkey that was at the location (I guess wild monkeys periodically come too) was a pest and jumped on the kids back and scared them. The waterfall (at least in March) was not worth the visit but it only took 10 minutes. The night safari has great potential with a good guide, the little bit that we saw was intriguing, but unfortunately the guide was terrible and scared the children so badly and unnecessarily that we cut it short. I provide the good and the bad of these tours because the bottom line was that the staff at the Paradise Resort took responsibility and made it work with a refund for the night safari.

A few recommendations to improve our stay even more include: add a row of hooks to hang clothes and additional drawers to store clothes. Provide a suitcase stool to keep bags up off the floor. Keep more wine in storage (particularly when customers order the last bottle the night before). Finally, as I'm a protective mom, we brought our own smoke detectors (and left them in the family tree house) in case there was ever a fire. As there is electricity in the tree houses, that small chance exists and it made me sleep comfortably at night. These simple 5 USD alarms could save lives if there were ever an unfortunate electrical fire. I highly recommend installing them in all the tree houses.

Overall I rate our stay as excellent because even with minor hiccups, which are somewhat expected, the staff made it all work!!! Thanks for all your attention.

Room Tip: Connecting family tree house was perfect for a family of 5. Our car transfers went off without a hit...

Great place to stay and really friendly staff... We booked a four night package with tours included so we didn't have to worry about booking when we got there. The rooms were great and clean, food amazing (probably the best from any of the places we stayed in on our holidays, compliments to the chef!) and trips all well organised. If you do want to wander out in the evening it is only a ten minute stroll to some bars and eateries and 15 mins from the entrance to the national park. Recommended.

Our chef is truly the best in the Khao Sok and has been working with us for the last 3 years.
We are trying to introduce more local specialties in the menu such as fern leaves in coconut milk and local wines.
We hope we will have the chance to welcome you back
