5 of us stopped here for lunch on a cycling weekend. Great location to take in the atmosphere of the Norfolk Broads. We had the soup of the day and the chicken ceasar salad which were tasty and if a good size.
Lots of space both inside and outside.

Thank Nick M

We were a party of 3. And when we ordered food. Two out of three starters not available and they had no pies, no lamb dishes, no fish. We asked if it would be easier to list what they did have??? It was not a long list...desserts was the same performance. We should have known better as we have stayed here before and the service was terrible then..we did complain then and had no apology that time. Could not care less and nothing changes...That's chains for ya.

13 ladies visited this prime location pub in the lovely village of Horning. A real tourist trap with boats, shops, cafes, sitting areas to take in the view, in the summer the pub garden is packed to capacity so we were happy to visit. However the inside is dark and gloomy and not very welcoming. A variety of food was ordered with some only having soup, we waited well over an hour and asked twice where our food was, only to be told it was coming. All meals were barely warm, the soup was half a bowl full and quite unpalatable, salad leaves were brown and tasteless. We asked to see the manager only to be told she was cooking in the kitchen. Very disappointed we paid up and left, no refunds were offered, the young waitress was very apologetic but not her fault. They are missing a trick with this pub what could be a gold mine is more like a coal pit.

We were a large group of 8 eating late, but we were seated at a large table quickly. We ordered various dishes including wraps, sandwiches, halloumi salads, fish cakes, and ALL were very good. I'm surprised by the previous reviews tbh.
Service was very friendly and efficient. I can even remember the girl's face from 2 days ago, she was so amenable.
My one criticism would be that they clear the tables more promptly, as we had to do that before we could sit down.

So there's a veggie roast, which sounds gross anyway, but better yet it doesn't come with vegetarian gravy. Awesome. Pretty much all 7 of us had something wrong with our food, including raw veg and onion rings that tasted like fish. And considering it's 2017 and they still don't have a good vegan option. Keep up. Not everyone is 70+ BTW "as much gravy as you want" means a tiny little jar. Absolutely terrible
