We have stayed at Larksong twice now and have had two wonderful holidays. The location is perfect, so close to the beach that we sometimes took our morning coffee down there while the children played on the sand. The bungalow is warm and comfortable, extremely well equipped and the conservatory is the ideal place to relax in the evening and watch the sunset. The large enclosed garden is great for kids, as is the large shower to hose them down after a day on the beach. The children (6 and 4) loved climbing Happisburgh lighthouse, (also a good play area there) flying kites on the beach, seal spotting and hiring a boat on the Broads. We also enjoyed visiting Wroxham Barns and would highly recommend Bewilderwood.
All in all, it is a great place to stay and we made some lovely memories. Thank you so much.
We booked a last minute break for a few days just to get away. Sally was so accommodating and fitted us in for the days we needed.
Accommodation was fine, Sally explained they were currently in the process of doing it up, the bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom were all done and the bits that weren't were still fine. Everything was clean, nice towels and bedding etc. Conservatory has lovely views and the bungalow is in a lovely quiet spot just minutes for the beach. All the locals we came across we're very friendly.
We spent most of our few days on the beach, which we pretty much had to ourselves. We walked down to Cart Gap for lunch at the Smallsticks cafe one day, and then down to Happisburgh another day, where we ate at Burgers at the Beach, both places were lovely and reasonably priced.
All in all, a lovely break and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
