This Pub / Restaurant can give you anything from a burger a steak meal a curry or even Fish & Chips all at a fair price and including a drink if the menu states so. The food is reasonable not great but the price is very fair which makes the food very acceptable for the price you pay, the service is good and the food is served quickly after you have ordered from the Bar. The décor is somewhat tired but again acceptable and once your finished you can feed the fish in the lake which if you have kids is entertaining. This is a Wetherspoons chain and is a little more expensive than those Wetherspoon on a High street because of the location I guess. Car Parking can be at busy times a pain because of the Gym and Conference centre sharing the parking.

Waited half an hour for a salad- had only a tiny bit of dressing. Asked for more was told to order some at the bar for 30p! Ruined my food as I then had to wait 1ins for more! Ridiculous service which really lets down the place which is actually quite nice

Arrived at venue at 1230pm,after spending 30 minutes trying to find space to park car.
A busy venue being Lunchtime, but only TWO bar staff on and one was obviously under training.Obtained menu which looked to have a good variety of choice of food/ drinks. After 30 minutes and still 8 deep at the bar decided to go elsewhere.... Lovely location ,however lack of parking, and lack of staff, means I really won't be going back.

We visited on a Thursday evening, around 19.40.It was busy, there was a queue to order food at the bar. There were a few spare tables, though not many, though few of the vacant ones has been cleared.
On ordering the food, we were told that there'd be a "bit of a delay". After 45 minutes on querying how much longer it would take, I was told it would be within another 5-10 minutes. It arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes after ordering, which for a fish and chips, pulled pork burrito and a Beef Madras (on a Curry night) seemed excessive.
The curry and burrito were both absolutely fine, the fish cold yet overcooked. We couldn't order puds as the kitchen was closing at 2030 due to refurbishment.
All in all, a disappointing evening at a pub that has served us perfectly well in the past.

Wetherspoon pubs usually have a good range of beers.not here.whoever is is locking after the beers needs more training because the quality is not good. And if you read reviews of this pub maybe it's time for senior outside managers of wethrspoons to get involved on improving this pub.
