We have just returned from a week at Cazenovia cottage and we were all sad to leave. The house is so cozy yet spacious ( the photos don't convey the spaciousness) The location was just perfect and so private in a beautiful idyllic setting. It was private and secluded and felt like home from home. Our 2 daughters fell in love with the house ( right out of fairytale ! Idyllic !) We loved Fanore and the drive along the coast road was stunning! We were so near to all the wonderful sights in the Burren National park yet the house was off the beaten track and not right on the tourist trail so very peaceful. We highly recommend the Cliffs of Moher if the weather is good, the sights are breathtaking. We did the boat trip to the bottom of the cliffs of moher from Doolin pier. The trip was amazing and the bird life fascinating. Great to see the cliffs from another perspective. We went to Aillwee caves with our daughters and they really were impressed with the Birds of Prey show. Another unexpected delight was the visit to the Burren Perfumery! Just gorgeous. Visited the Poulnabrone dolmen on the way.. Hard to believe it predates the pyramids of Giza. Last but not least we had delicious food at Gus O'Connors pub in Doolin. Highly recommend the Mussles and home made brown bread! Thank you to Brendan and Rita for the gorgeous cottage to base ourselves in for the week. The welcome package was a lovely touch. Our girls are begging to return next year.
