We stayed at Victory Home for 2 nights in Mar'11. The best part of the homestay was the hospitality extended to us. Clean, well appointed rooms. Beautiful decor and amazing surroundings.Travelling with small kids is never easy but once we arrived at Victory Home we knew we had made the right decision. Our hosts were gracious, thoughtful and understanding. The lovely home cooked meals were scrumptious. Since Mrs. Ponappa takes a keen interest in the cuisine she serves and the preferences of her guests there is never any room for complaints. Also, interacting with the couple is uplifting since they both have engaging personalities. Visits to the elephant camp, Dubare and the strolls in their coffee plantation was the only sightseeing we did. We returned completely refreshed and happy.

Beautiful house with great interior rooms and incredible food. Really first rate service and wonderful extra touches. We have stayed on two separate occasions and both trips were nothing short of delightful.

We spent a weekend at the beautiful cottage of Brig Ponappan and and his family at Coorg. The place is a very quiet and off beat farm house. It is in the middle of a beautiful coffee estate. The place is run by the retired brigadier's wife. They have 2 or 3 beautifully decorated rooms. The family stays in the ground floor and the first floor is rented out for guests. Don't expect dish tv or room service here. Go for home cooked Coorgy food and warm hospitality. Excellent place to unwind and relax, away from the maddening crowds of our cities. Don't expect much activity apart from nature walks and lively conversation from Brig. and his wife.
