One probably a well managed place, this property is now a poor managed, unhygienic hotel with a view. The property is beautiful and old. The cottages and the main building look quaint and beautiful! The surroundings are green and you can hear the many famed birds of Coorg. The toilets and bath products are amazing too. At first this place looks great! And then you realise the smell of piss that haunts every room, the dirty, stained and torn sheets, the generations of lizards, spiders and other creepy crawlies that call the interiors of the cottages their home and now also want to call your clothes and baggage your home. The staff of the place is nice but incredibly slow and take their own time to get things done. The food is fantastic, though it’s a set menu you can often request for certain dishes ahead of time. But because of said slow staff, it will take you about an 45 mins to get your food from when you order. The coffee from this plantation is a must buy! Famed in all of Coorg apparently.
Tldr: This place was probably once a jewel but now is a rusting, smelly, unhygienic and crawling with bugs. Only the food and coffee were great. It needs some firm management and deep clean to make it worth your money.More
