Went there with my wife for a mini get away for 3 days. It was a truly an electronic free zone. The poor mobile network made it even better. They would even lock up your gadgets if you asked. The views and the walks were excellent. Their home brew coffee is a must along with their cozy ambiance. We had taken the Jacuzzi room. It was extremely relaxing, though it took a while to fill up. Their staffs was always available to help us.

Old Kent estate is an old English coffee estate with very cozy 8 cottages. Constructed very tastefully and with modern amenities. Cottages are quite large and main attraction are the lavish bathrooms. It's a very good relaxing place away from our busy/ noisy cities and you will enjoy peace! Restaurant is small, open to nature but accommodates all guests even if all cottages are occupied. The designing of the reception area, library, mini home-theatre etc gives actual English feel.

In case of food - we found breakfast excellent and lunch/ dinner reasonable based on local preparation. Staff is polite and helpful.

Few things may be improved and which are:

1) Although staff is polite and they extend a warm welcome too, there is some disconnect between them and guests. They do not interact much on their own except when you ask them any questions. We did not experience the GM at property or Chef coming out and having casual talk with guests, which would connect the guests little better with property.

2) although there is a SPA, it was not a luxury experience the way it's mentioned on their list of services. Not sure if they have any dedicated masseurs at the estate.

Overall experience was good except few of these things.
