The place is truly beautiful, one needs to be there in person to appreciate the tasteful way the proprietors have gone about making this very tranquil place a boon for anybody wanting to partake in nature gifts and getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The coffee estate is easy to access and the helpful staff at the estate do a fantastic job in making all ur travel needs are taken care of and also help in booking cabs from the airports or train stations. The place in itself a master piece and special mention needs to be given to the proprietors who have preserved the British era decor and one can even witness the remnants of a bygone era in all its glory. Food is great, with the resort staff always on hand to guide you and your spoilt for choices really. Many a latte and filter coffee were downed during the two day stay there and I still miss the rich aroma and taste of coorgs famous coffee beans. The bird walk and coffee estate tour were a treat to our senses and the cottage in itself is truly first class with all the modern amenities tucked away in tastefully done architecture that gives a nod to the picturesque nature all around. Do ask the staff to organize a trek to the nearby elephant sanctuary and the Buddhist monastery. I can’t recommend the estate enough...More
