We were travelling with a foreigner group and checked in on 10th August for 2 nights stay. We had taken 13 rooms. We booked the accommodation here only because of 'Windflower' brand but now we think that we did a BIG MISTAKE.

There were maintenance issues in the rooms. poor room service. Tea-coffee makers were not working in some rooms (management did not show a simple courtesy to change it also in spite of several complaints). Room Airconditioner in one room was not working. Bathrooms in all the rooms were not clean. There was no hot water in some rooms and had to call the housekeeping several times. There was no power supply in one room and had to wait nearly for 4 hrs. to get it repaired.

Well before check-in, we had told the hotel management about the pick-up from the main road as big bus can't enter in the property but hotel management provided only one vehicle to transfer the guests. It took nearly one hour for transfers. The guests were literally standing on the road in the rains without any shelter.. We tried to contact their sales office in Bangalore about the happenings but they were least bothered. Also sent an e-mail to Mr. Rajesh T.G., General manager but no response from him till date.

We found their efficiency in them in only one thingf. They are very efficient in demanding the payment. They need FULL payment well before check-in. They are always in 'threatening mode' in asking the payment. We paid Rs.2,71,000/- for the same group well in advance before the check-in and in return, what we received? COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. It gave a very bad impression about the management of the property to the inbound guest, from whom our country earns foreign exchange.

I request you all that don't stay in this property else you will destroy your holidays by your own hands...

The property needs upkeep it has really deterioted. Rooms were run down. The wood floors need repair. Bathrooms very worn out. This is very unfortunate. No sign of upper management. The morale of the employee s is down. Hospitality diminishing.....

Great service by the whole resort. Special mention for Sangeeth the resort manager and the restaurant chef. It was raining all through our stay but anything you ask for came quickly in the room . Chef was more than happy to make something special for kids.

This was our 4th visit to windflower and this time we had stayed in banglow, beautiful room with a river view.
We always prefer to go to coorg wildflower because of Manager Sangeeth. Great hospitality by Sangeeth and his team.
Excellent food and a great service.
Must visit place.
All thanks to Mr.sangeeth and Team.

It was a business outing and a last minute selection due to unforeseen issue with our booking with the The Serai group.

We had booked suites and the studio rooms. The staff were rude right from the outset. They were inflexible despite the entire property occupied almost entirely by us. Right from the lunch to our check out the next day, the behaved irresponsibly.

We were mature people in the higher ranks of a corporate behemoth and know how to behave - so it is not some petty grievances. Nothing else matters if you can't show a little flexibility in inclement weather.

They made a poor impression on a lot of well heeled people who might have considered this property for vacationing in Coorg and am sure the word will spread about the pathetic experience we had

Room Tip: The studio rooms face the garbage dump. if the wind blows the wrong way, expect a smelly stay
