Stayed here with an overseas visitor to show him the beautiful Mecklenburger Seenplatte. The Hotel is gorgeous with its regal main castle building and the annex buildings. We stayed at one of the renovated rooms in one of the Annex wings. Rooms are well appointed, modern and on the small side. The two separate beds we requested for were bery very narrow. Dinner at the Orangerie was good, but the place was severely understaffed.
The breakfast was a bit of a disappointed. I was looking forward to the choice of bakery products which were suppose to be baked on site. All they had was a choice of three types of bread which was stale and for sure baked days before. I never experienced this in Germany, not even at 2* hotels. The Spa facilities were amazing, but open very late at 2 pm.
Overall a nice place within a gorgeous setting.. but a below average breakfast.More
