Le Phare Bleu resort provides villas in quiet surroundings in its flower garden. I have spent there four weeks and I enjoyed my time a lot! Every Friday evening, they have live music on the Lightship in their marina. Take a sit, listen to some local music and have a dinner there - It is a unique atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and give you any time a hand if required. If you want to explore Grenada on the sea I highly recommend to jump in one of their offered kayaks and have a trip in their own bay or even discover surrounding bays as I did. Overall the resort offers a great location for relaxing and having an insight of Caribbean feelings.

Le Phare Bleu has a friendly staff. The shuttle picked us up from the airport at 8:30 am when we arrived. The check-in is uncomplicated. The serenity villa where we stayed was big enough for 8 people but they only book it for 4. The kitchen has adequate pots and pans but could use a toaster and salad bowls.

The private pool was very clean and well maintained. Be aware that the villas do not have screen doors and windows that mosquitoes can be present at night. The bedroom are safe from the pesky mosquitoes.. The staff are kind enough to provide a mosquito repellant which is very effective.

The beach is minimal but they have non-motorized water sports equipment that guests can use for no additional cost.

The restaurant is only open for supper. The staff in the restaurant and bar are very attentive.

Great location with its own secluded bay. Pick up and drop off at the airport included.
Staff all very friendly and helpful. Chalets very well appointed and if you have an upstairs one you're at treetop level and can see all sorts of birdlife.
Great live music on the lightship.
Absolutely beautiful - can't fault it.

Room Tip: First floor chalets have great views

Front desk staff A+++, dock master A+++, restaurant staff A+++, food A+++. We brought a yacht in and spent a week at the hotel. Quiet location on the south side of Grenada. If your looking to party this isn’t the place. If your looking for a calm boutique hotel with ambiance and good service, this is it. We loved every aspect of this place and will return often. Classic Caribbean location, not many of these left. Great place to take a honeymoon, romantic getaway or recharge after a long voyage.

It does not appear that the hotel; operates as a hotel any longer. The owners appear to be trying to let the cottages on longer term lets. The restaurant is very poorly used in marked contrast to competing bar/restaurants - Adrift at Clarkes Court, Whisper Cove and Laura's at Grenade Marine. Few boats now using the marina and the whole place has a feeling of being allowed to wind down. This is a great shame as the facilities here are excellent. The bay is pretty with a small sandy beach. Pretty bar and restaurant with a very nice shallow pool. Hobbie Cats, paddle boards and kayak available for use of patrons in the sheltered bay. Lightship is a quirky landmark and provides showers and toilets for the marina customers. Seems it could also be a dining/bar/entertainment venue but it is not 5 star and awkward to get aboard. Genuinely interesting vessel which adds real character to the place. Marina pontoons are high quality and provide good moorings but few boats here now. I cannot recommend this place run as it currently is. New manager/owners with enthusiasm would have a fantastic base and infrastructure to work with.
