Located exactly 5KMs before the lake, right on the road - very easy to spot.
Well maintained.
Ample Parking Space.
Little overpriced considering its a guest house.
No inverter/generator.
No menu in the kitchen. There is thali system in dinner and fixed menu for b/fast but prices are not mentioned anywhere for the customers to know beforehand and decide accordingly.
The owner did not seem interested in meeting the customers. Not present even at the time of billing. The cook/caretaker takes care of all things. We wanted to meet the owner as it goes a long way in making the staying experience good. But sadly couldnt.
Overall a good place for one night stay with family.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your extremely valuable feedback, as we continuously look forward to hearing form you and your views that tremendously help us improve our services. First and foremost, we would like to apologize for the unavailability of proprietor during your stay, We found out that he was occupied in some unavoidable circumstances and task and couldn't take time out to visit the property. We ensure and hope that the staff was able to take good care of you. That said, proprietor normally is present at the property every day, and we have established great associations and relationships with a lot of our customers who continue to choose Ekant for their stay every time they visit Renuka.

We have also taken into consideration other concerns you have highlighted. We are working on building a menu in the Kitchen as well as installing an investor for backup power supply.

Thank you for your visit and we hope to see you soon again at Ekant Guest House.

Regards
Vivek

Great quiet location not too far from the lake, staff is helpful and efficient. The rooms are basic but spacious and clean, expect made to order good regular home cooked food. They have running hot water and clean linen. A spacious parking lot and ample place to walk around. In all a nice place to spend a day far from the madness of the town and tourist cues. By far the best property around Renuka lake far better than the ramshackle government accommodation opposite the lake.

We zeroed in on Ekanth Guest House solely through the excellent reviews it had received on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. Serene surroundings, exceptionally courteous and helpful staff--if small in number--added to the experience. We were bowled over by the sincere, remarkably non-commercial approach of the property owner. Wholesome, simple, home-cooked food was a bonus. A wonderful getaway from the city bustle.

Room Tip: Deluxe double room in this five-room guest house was good.

I visited Ekant Guest House in Sept-15 with my wife+2 kids and mother in law. It was a great ride and the place is not difficult to find, actually few km before Renuka ji.

Mr. Vashisht is a true son of the soil and a gentleman. On arrival we were provided with nice and clean rooms with running hot water. We did not intimate our late arrival but still Kishan the cook, prepared very nice lunch and continued to enthral our taste buds over a stay of 4 days.

Built in the valley, Ekant trully represents peace and tranquility, so much missed in the city life. All of us just stayed outside most of the times, to take in the rolling mountainside, esp. at night. The widespread garden at Ekant is a treasure and one really feels having rested. Kishan listening to his local radio, made amazing breakfasts and local dishes on our request (because it was downtime I guess). His 7 yr old son Tanmaya and our daughter became great pals and played around whole day. The views and the feeling of staying close to the nature without much luxury made us stay at Ekant and postpone plans to go out.

Overall, it is a great property for those of us to whom less is more and to whom people have more value over fancy things. Ekant is a place to let your guard down, rest and think about your self. Close to most local attractions i.e. Nahan, Renuka ji, Paonta Sahib etc, it is a affordable treat. Highly recommended. Will go again as soon as there is a chance. Thanks to Mr Vashisht and Kishan for your hospitality.

Room Tip: Depends on you. They have choices available. All rooms face the views.

Love to be there, good stay with family. We would like to Thank Mr Vashisth, the owner of this property. Beautiful property with a huge open space. From the terrace you can see the range of green hills with full of trees. This place is very calm. Located away from the city, in the hills to enjoy a time with the nature.

This is the only guest house on the way Nahan to Renukaji lake and also very near(just 4 Kmts) from Renukaji. Well maintained and really nice property. Staff was quick and helpful. Food was simple and like homely made.

Definitely a must go place. Recommend to go everyone, who loves Nature & Peace, at least once, you will not be disappointed.
