Although Sanu wasn't here (she also organises and accompany trekking tours), she arranged our stay at her place. Her young nephew (he gladly came to pick us up from Tashiding bazar area as we reached the town from our trekking after sunset, the electricity was off in the whole locality and the homestay is a bit far off -10-15 min - from the bazar. and grandparents welcomed us very warmly and made our night stay much confortable and friendly. As many homestays, rooms are simple, all wooden and cosy with shared bathroom (here was the very minimum). Some rooms offer a beautiful view towards Pelling and the homestay is situated on a sacred hill (so beware : no smoking or alcohol allowed there) just next to Tashiding monastery (15 min climbing).

We stayed here at very short notice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sanu was away so her nephew arranged everything for us and he was really helpful. We had a delicious home-cooked dinner and breakfast with the family.
