I booked this hotel after I didn't get a vacancy in few of the other premium hotels in mandarmani. The overall experience was pretty satisfactory barring a few minor issues as I will list them here. Pros: 1.Amazing location right at the end of the beach which avoids the crowded part of Mandarmani. All first floor premium rooms are sea facing. 2.superb service. All the staff are very cordial and serve their guests wholeheartedly. 3. A very clean and well maintained swimming pool with very flexible pool timings. The depth of the pool is not much but it's the best part of the resort.you can have a view of the ocean while chilling at the pool with a couple of beers..yes they do serve drinks at the pool provided you don't make a mess out there. 4. The food was good if not exceptionally great. But the quantity as compared to price was not satisfactory. Their breakfast buffet was simple but very tasty. 5. The hotel management was very accommodative of our pet dog ( about whom we informed them earlier ) who had a great time at the resort and the beach. I really thank them whole heartedly for the same. Cons: 1.Poor Maintenance of the rooms. Though they were spacious and well equipped but there were cracks in the wall, bathroom showers were broken etc. The manager said they were going to repair them soon. 2. Extremely uncomfortable springy bed. All of us had a backache after a couple of nights. At least Simple mattresses would have served much better. 3. The beach access to the hotel disappears from 8am to 12noon during high tide. So plan your arrival and departure accordingly if you are travelling by a private vehicle. The local taxis though somehow ply during those hours but it's pretty risky. 4. Though exactly not the hotel management's fault, but the quality of crowd during the weekend we visited was pretty horrible. The management had to cater to their requests and had to play loud music in the lawn for the entire evening which was a real headache for us who expected some peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I guess most of mandarmani hotels have to entertain such people to run their business but it ruins the beauty of the place. Overall, I will surely recommend this hotel to others, specially who are travelling in groups. Also I would request the hotel management to look after the minor issues so that next time our stay becomes even more awesome.More
