North Country mall MOHALI The mall of Punjab & biggest maal in the Punjab Mohali khara sunny enslave in the intetnational airport road national Highway 21 Mohali central Relanice market Pentolom Max Mark Spencer
The mall is the place in mohali and kharar area where we could find almost brands for shopping and also we spend our time while sitting in food area and by watching movie.we always go for movie and shoping.
If you want to shop then elante mall is best option but otherwise for time pass or some little shopping you can visit this place without any issue
It's an amazing size and in an great location but sadly it's not completely open. Only half of the shops are occupied. However both the food court and cinema on the top floor are great. Lots of different great food to choose from and lots of seating. Will be a great place to shop once it's fully open.
The mall has MNC stores, you can have readymade, home furniture, decorative items, jewellery, sports goods, grocery and many other items at one place. It has a food court and other eating outlets. It is well maintained. Lot of commercial space is still unutilised. It has enough parking space, but parking fee is costlier than Chandigarh.
North Country is definitely huge, very well planned and well built but yes its still In the making. It has grown a lot with huge outlets of Lifestyle + Homestop, Mohali Central, Pantaloons, West sides, Decathlon who have a basket ball court too. A few leading brands like Zara, Vero Moda, Marks and Spencer, Nike and a lot more. I feel a lot more brands are in the process of opening and yet to open. Time zone for kids has a two lane bowling alley. A Haunted house and a 7D movie screening are on the same floor.
PVR 9 Screes with Gold class is a good option for entertainment . The food court has a limited options. Indian food , Yo China, Dominos , Vango , KFC and another Juice and sandwiches counter. You need a prepaid card to purchase from the counters except for KFC.
For a dine in they have Pizza Hut, Classic of grill, Beer cafe, Pizzavito, and The BrewMaster actually no good dine in yet.
There are two Cafes Cafe coffee Day on the top floor and Costa Coffee on the ground floor.
A huge Reliance Hypermarket that is always crowded. They have a good bakery inside.
Parking is on two basement levels, one near the hypermarket for Aged and women. There is an outdoor parking next to the basketball court. You could even drive up to the main entrance and opt for valet at Rs 100 ( $1.5). There are a couple of events happening on weekends. Its a quite place on the weekdays. Weekends are lively.
The crowd is a blend of Locals, some from city and even nearby villages.
The wash rooms maintenance is not up to the standard the mall has been built to missing things like Tissues.
Though its on the road the approach is a bit tedious. One needs to remain on the left of the Chandigarh Kharar Road and take the slip road as soon as you see the TDI business center. While returning to Chandigarh there is a crossing without lights and the traffic gets chaotic. One could be stuck in traffic for a while between 1800 hrs to 2030 hrs on Sundays and holidays. With the upcoming airport road this should be addressed.
Its a nice place to shop, watch a movie and spend some time with friends and family. I am sure in the coming years it would become the shopping destination of Mohali. It has the potential and could one day give Elante( Chandigarh) a run for its popularity.
