They are friendly and make you feel at home. Especially the warm blooded Ekshu. * Economical and affordable unlike other expensive homestays. However, the price can be reduced for weekdays stay. * Shashi (the caretaker) is a friendly guy. Didn't bother us much. * Neat and cosy * Trekking & Water falls are very close (just 1 hr easy trek) * They don't take multiple bookings at the same time. Hence, your privacy is guaranteed (a BIG plus for me) * The design of the rooms is very nice. It gives the feel of staying in a old village hut. Negatives * The rooms are too very small and it was very hard to even keep our luggage. * No discounts on weekdays * Food was average and can be improved. * Approach road is bad (though it was due to heavy rains). But they offered us pickup and drop in their own vehicle free of cost. It is recommended for adventurer's who seek a base camp for resting and trekking.
