An extremely pleasant stay. B&B San Carlo is very easy to find yet it's off the beaten path at the same time, being only 5 or 10minutes from the highway. It's a great base from which to explore the villages of Asti and Alba.
The property itself is delightful, from the view over the countryside to Costigliole to the expansiveness and comfort of the common areas, including the huge kitchen.
Our room was lovely with views to the valley. It was extremely well appointed with plush towels and all amenities, and amaretto cookies for snack attacks.
The breakfast was the best we've had in a B&B and we've stayed in more since writing this review. Not only was there the usual spread of breads, jams and pastries, but Giorgio made a delightful roulade to accompany the more than generous offerings.
Quite honestly, the welcome we received from Giorgio and Mirella was utterly memorable. They are very warm, hospitable and clearly have a passion for their metier.

We recently attended a wedding near Costigliole d'Asti and had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at B & B San Carlo. The B & B is an amazing villa that has breathtaking views over the vineyards and valleys of the Asti region. The villa is clean and classically furnished. Mirella was a fantastic hostess and cooked us amazing breakfasts with meats, cheese and pastries.

Costigliole d'Asti is a spectacular place to visit and B & B San Carlo is the perfect place to stay while you're there.

I went with a small group to stay one night on the bed and breakfast San Calo. It is a beautiful place with a nice couple running this place. We had a glass of vine in the garden and out from the kitchen came Mirella and Giorgio with small meals representing the area. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast. Next time in Piemonte this is the place to visit to experience hospitality and beauty.

Room Tip: They had three rooms and they were all beautful with a nice view

I was travelling towards the wonderful region of Langhe with my girlfriend, looking for a place for the night when, on the top of the San Carlo hill, we were caught by the most amazing sunset we've ever seen. All the arc of Piedmont Alps covered with snow with the pyramid of Mount Viso in the middle, and above only pink and intense blue sky. We just stopped there and found the roadsign to B&B San Carlo right in front of us.
Giorgio and Mirella, the owners, welcomed us as family members in their newly restored beautiful home. Everything is very neat and clean, and always enriched with some original, artistic detail.
We slept in perfect quiet and breakfast in the morning was superb.
We stayed there only one night, but will certainly return in the next trip to Langhe!

Room Tip: Ask for Fiordaliso room, its bathroom with hydromassage is the top.
