Whilst heading out for a walk along the South Devon coast we decided to fuel up before hand, discovered the Journey's End at Ringmore as a last minute choice. An old 13th century building which I believe has recently be renovated in the conservatory area, we were lucky enough to get a table as it seemed top choice for Sunday lunch. We ordered the rare roast beef and roast pork, both were exquisite, luxury and rustic at the same time, with a giant Yorkshire pud, and more veg than you could wish for. Best roast in a while, defo be back here again soon for more blissful Sunday's. Keep up the good work guys.

Last minute decision to eat here instead of in Modbury and we were very pleased we chose this pub. Friendly helpful staff, food excellent, roaringg fire. Very busy so probably worth pre booking at table. We were lucky they fitted us in without a problem. We were cautious and had burgers which were superb with proper had cut chips and lots of extras on plate. Many were eating from the noodle menu and it looked really good. We will visit again.

We popped in for a pint whilst on a walk and really loved the quaint pub atmosphere? So much do that whilst we were staying in Salcombe, some 30 mins away in the car, we felt that we had to visit for dinner

We were not disappointed. Food was excellent and also different from so many local pubs

We started with duck pancakes. Whilst they appeared to be expensive at just under a tenner for each starter, when we saw the size of the portion it was in fact great value and really delicious. Do not expect the normal duck pancakes, these were a different class altogether

For main we both had the noodles as the chef, Connor, had spent time in the Far East I believe. Again the portion was huge and delicious

I can very much recommend a visit
