This is a lovely restaurant and the staff go out of their way to please. There is no menu, they just cook and you eat!!! Sounds great but we found that our enjoyment was reduced due to TOO much food. I hate things going to waste and even though we asked for a ‘doggy bag’ I have not felt so uncomfortably full in a long while. The chicken looked good but sadly we didn’t get to try any after all the lovely previous dishes. They offer local wines which are excellent. If you are there with a large group then maybe you don’t feel so overwhelmed with food. I would definitely recommend trying it but I won’t be going back.

This charming family opened their restaurant for 10 of us for lunch. A few of our group had already had dinner there, and insisted we all return. There are no menus--the food just keeps coming, family style, and EVERYTHING was delicious. No dinner for us that night! Lunch was completed by pictures with the owners in the lovely garden.

If you are looking for an authentic family run rustic Italian restaurant then this is the place. The setting in the countryside adds to the charm. No menu is offered but the food served does not disappoint and covers all tastes but no fish. Service is attentive but not overbearing.

We were told to make reservations for this restaurant and we did so and we were told that there is no menu, they will just bring you out what they have cooked that day, well....... let me tell you that this was one of the most memorable meals we had in our time in Italy.
The gentlemen who sat us asked if we are hungry and we said yes and then the food just started to flow out of the kitchen.
For the antipasti we had - potato and cheese croquettes, semolina gnocchi with a lovely spinach and cheese sauce, grilled eggplant and grilled zucchini, Onion and sage pizza and foccacia bread, roasted peppers, farro salad, and . Needless to say the portions were huge and we had lots of leftovers for dinner a couple of nights later.
The Secondi was a 5 layer lasagna, (1/2 portion they said!) We took some of that home as well.
We were so full, but everything was so good.
for the main course they brought out 2 different types of pork including a suckling pig, which was AMAZING!!! A platter of sliced roasted pork and an arugula salad with tomatoes.
Dessert was a raspberry cake that was more like cheesecake, with a lovely crust and then at the end of the evening they brought a bottle of creamy lemincello to the table for us to enjoy
All of this including 2 large Heineken and 4 bottles of sparkling water was only......... $30.00 Euros/person.

It was so good we went back for a second time.!!!! Thanks for making a truly memorable meal. (Twice)

This restaurant is amazing. They don't have menus, just bring you what they are cooking that day. Incredible homemade dishes, in an amazingly beautiful outdoor setting. Our kids played with the cats that were roaming around the grounds while we sipped wine and chatted with friends and family. Our server (maybe the owner?) accommodated all our special needs (one person didn't eat tomatoes, our family is vegetarian) with a smile. Highly recommend if you are anywhere in the area. Be prepared to spend several hours...it's worth it!
