“It just keeps getting better”
Reviewed 30 March 2012

Loved Gaia from the moment I arrived - and it's even better coming back - just like 'coming home'. Fabulous food, beautiful accommodation and environment, caring and oh so wonderful practitioners. One of the things that keeps me coming back is the attention to detail - from the design and decor to the 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. As soon as I leave I want to go back - so nice to leave wanting more.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good - even when I've been given an 'upgrade', it's totally unnece...

I stayed at Gaia in Oct 2011 so this review is a bit overdue! I took 5 nights away from my hectic and busy life as a mother, small business owner and teacher, to be totally indulgent and to relax. I loved being collected at the airport and whisked away to gorgeous Gaia. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and genuine. The grounds and setting are beautiful and I felt no desire to leave. The food was absolutely divine, with lots of delicious options and amazing flavours. Breakfast was incredible and I loved the choices of snacks/teas/fruits etc available throughout the day. It was great to be able to indulge in a lovely glass of organic wine with dinner without feeling guilty. All the activities I participated in were fabulous and I particularly loved Danielle's yoga classes. She is an inspiring and beautiful person. The spa treatments were amazing and all of the therapists were incredibly skilled. I probably went a bit over the top but enjoyed every minute of every treatment without feeling guilty. If you have the chance to go to Gaia, do it. Treat yourself to a package if you can afford it. I was worried about spending that much on my self. Now I realise that it was an investment to make me a better mother, wife and person. I was totally rejuvenated and inspired when I returned home. Namaste xxx

Staying at Gaia was a small piece of heaven on earth. The views were absolutely breathtaking... the gardens were stunning and the accommodation incredibly elegant. I loved the food... every meal was so beautifully presented, so delicious but still light and nutritious - no deprivation involved. I could do as much or a little as I liked - with so many wonderful treatments and activities on offer I could fill my day entirely, or I could retreat to my room and just read a book. It was the perfect combination of interaction, advice and quiet time to myself. I just loved it. I wish I had gone for 7 days instead of 5. I felt utterly nourished and cared for on every level. I especially enjoyed my time in the spa... the body polish in the steam room was definitely the highlight! I cannot recommend Gaia highly enough....

Celebrating my daughter's birthday could not have been more perfect! It was our first visit to Gaia Retreat and will be one of many. Our visit was beyond our expectations - from the warm and friendly staff, the gourmet organic food, plush accommodation, amazing spa experiences, a truly tranquil environment, and an opportunity to learn through yoga and other sessions. We have taken our learning back into our daily lives - nothing faddish just lots of common sense.
