My wife and I spent 3 lovely nights in Rainer's cabin in early December of 2015. We were very pleased by the condition of the cabin, and our host, Rainer (logbuilder extraordinaire), made us feel welcome and was able to provide us with useful information about local hikes, scenery and wildlife. It's a very attractive location, far enough outside Whitehorse to feel remote, but close enough to have access to amenities and local attractions. The cabin has an excellent wood-burning stove that heats up quickly and can keep you warm through the night. The kitchen area is well-stocked with cooking utensils and there's a very comfy queen-sized bed as well. You will appreciate Rainer's woodworking skills in all the furniture and shelving which is rustic but attractive and of high quality. We enjoyed the sauna and outdoor shower afterwards!
