Great staff and room and breakfast. However, pool area is in need of serious cleaning and repair. Grout is coming off in many areas and in hot tub. Rust and other stains in the pool and on the floor. Pool and hot tub water appears dirty. No steps to enter hot tub - poorly designed.

As of this month, July 2017, this hotel is only three years old, but it is already showing significant signs of wear. Why? Why do mid-range hotels cheap out on basic construction and maintenance? It's hard to believe that it is actually less expensive to remodel, which involves shutting down, than to spend a little extra during construction.

For example, the caulking in the shower is already showing disgusting signs of . . . well, disgusting stuff.

The guest laundry area seems to NOT vent to the outside. (Construction or maintenance?) There was a pool of steam-produced water under the dryers. This can only lead to . . . YES: disgusting stuff. And strangely, the machines (two each of a washer and dryer!!) cost different amounts for different amounts of time. The washer on the right is $2, the one on the left is only $1. Both dryers say that it costs $2 for a load, but the both activate with only $1. Both on the delicate setting, the one on the right will run for 45 minutes, the one on the left for 20 minutes. Very strange. But this really doesn't matter. Nice to have a clean laundry room with two machines!

Comfortable beds, courteous staff.

Clean, well run & still has that new hotel smell. Unfortunately the pool/hot-tub area was to chloriney for us.
Would still go back, nice spot & is easy to get into and out of with lots of restaurant options s nearby.

This is my second time staying here and have to say they are very consistent. Everytime I stay at a Hampton I am very pleased. The staff at this hotel was very nice and informative, Irwin checked me in, was the quickest check in and he helped me sign up for Hhonors, by far one of the best customer service I've had. The room exceeded my expectations, I didn't have time to try the breakfast because they were allot people , that probably sign it's really good. This is now my regular place in Regina.

After a long flight from Europe we wanted a quiet and comfortable room,... but at the Hampton Inn, we got much more than that.
We arrived through the door and were met by the very friendly reception. We were checked in quickly and professionally and got to our king-room which is very nicely designed (love the big long table - very useful when travelling as a couple - and also the room was very nicely designed - nice colours, nice furnishing, very well maintained and clean, and -all in all- very comfortable. With our jet lag and tiredness we got a quick swim and then a soak in the small HOT whirlpool... and then to bed for a deep sleep!
The best part about our room was waking up at 04:00 (again jet lag) and opening the curtains and looking out onto sunrise across the flat flat flat fields of the Canadian Prairies. The view from the room was great - couldn't be more mid-west Canadian - with flat fields as far as the eye can see... and in the corner the back lot of a farm equipment sales centre.... with some HUGE tractors and agriculture equipment.
We grabbed a coffee from the lobby, went for ah hour long walk to watch the sun rise over the fields - listen to the birds - and smell the clean farm air ...and got back in time for breakfast (starts at 06:00).
Bernadette the woman who runs the breakfast room is absolutely lovely! She is a great host first thing in the morning - with a big smile and she really makes you feel welcome! She cuts all the fresh fruit in the morning (great strawberries), and she showed me how to make the perfect waffle! We talked with her a bit and she is hardworking, and was chatting up all of the guests and making them feel welcome first thing in the morning.
We also had a good chat and received some helpful advice from Irwin Brar at the front desk. He is also on in the early mornings, and was a great host for all my questions.
We were exceptionally pleased with your stay at the Hampton Inn Regina. It was a great place to get over our 8hrs of Jet lag, and shift back onto the Canadian timezones.
While in Regina we met up with other family who were staying at a different hotel... I can say in all honesty that from our impression the Hampton was much nicer and better kept.
We would not hesitate to recommend the Hampton (and its staff) to anyone, and we will certainly stay here again on our next trip to Regina.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the back - so you can see the prairie sunrise at 04:00
