the location is not good, as it is close to motorways, and also far from the city center, and the view over the parking lot was very depressing but the bathroom facilities were excellent, the room was very clean, and the beds were very very comfortable. I'd say it's ok if you value comfort over nice views and quaint rooms and friendly atmosphere. there are no views, and no atmosphere
also, a pity the girl at the reception desk told us the only way we could get into town was to drive there, we wished we had looked into the matter ourselves.

Room Tip: they all look the same, so I guess they all offer the same horrible view but the same comfort

Bonjour and thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. I am sorry that the location of the hotel was not was you expected. We always give as much detail as we can when someone call for a reservation but sometime when guests use other reservation sites, it is not as well explain.
I am also sorry for the response you received that the only way to get to town was to drive... You can actually use public transportation or take a cab. I will make a follow up with the employee. Thanks for letting us know.
Kindest regards,
Justine St-Denis

Nice, clean hotel. Friendly and efficient front staff. Would be 5 star if they had real bacon at breakfast!
Buffet had a good selection though.
Good power shower in the bathroom and all the amenities you may need! Nice to have a nespresso machine in the room too!!

Sometimes you just get lucky in picking hotels. The location, transport to town, the services, staff, and adjacent restaurant all just align into pure perfection. This was the highlight of our 2-week road-trip.

From the front desk staff that went out of their way to answer each and every question (where is the nearest laundry and their hours?), to a swift and silent cleaning crew, to our favorite "The Galopin" bar and restaurant.

Our experience with 'captive' restaurants to hotels is that they rest on their laurels and only achieve mediocrity. Not so here! In the best style of a great chef, we just said 'bring us what you think we'd like' and each night it was amazing, creative, light, and inventive. Part of the fun of the visit is to just see what is presented each night.

Hotel transport typically means a man in a van. So, when an open-top big red sightseeing bus rolled into the driveway it made a great start to our day. We could begin sightseeing on the way in to town for even more sightseeing. Courteous and professional our driver was safe and timely. There are 3 scheduled trips into town in the morning, and a couple in town return trips in the evening.

This hotel, shuttle, and bar/restaurant really raised the bar for our visit to Quebec.

We ended up staying here for two nights during a recent visit to Quebec City. We actually checked out and went to an Air B&B; quickly realized our mistake and came back to Hotel Sepia. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and they were very luxurious for the price we paid. The check in process was very quick and efficient, the parking lot was well lit and the parking was very close to the rooms.

It was one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in and I had the best two nights sleep of our entire trip here. Definitely would recommend!

We stop here for two days while visiting Quebec city. The check in process efficient and the front desk lady was very pleasant. The hotel is very modern and clean. There was fresh ice water with lemon in the common areas.
The room was average size and the shower area was small. However the shower has a rain head which was lovely. We were with our two kids so the queen size beds were a welcome sight.
I did use the fitness room, which had a full set of weights, rowing machine and stationary bike. It was very clean and does the job.
The location is perfect to get into Old Quebec, only about 12-15min drive.
Overall a very pleasant stay. My only critique would be a choice of a softer pillow as the ones in the room were quite firm.
Would happily return to this hotel.
