Located a 20-minute taxi (or shuttle bus) drive outside of downtown Quebec City, this is a truly unique place to visit -an architectural marvel. It is a quite large, free-standing Hotel, made entirely of snow and ice. Spaces include a Lobby, hotel bar and disco, guest rooms (including larger suites, hot tubs and sauna, and a separate chapel.

Overall, this is VERY interesting, and very unique! definitely worth a visit (only need about an hour)
The viability of this place as an actual "hotel" for those who stay overnight is somewhat questionable. It really seems much more like a gimmick, or a stunt, for those who like "survivor"-like adventures....
I won't get into the long details about how you would actually sleep over in this hotel, but it is not really practical, in any way, at all....
The overall environment is VERY creative, some of the rooms (especially with the LED colorful lighting) are very beautiful, and you can enjoy a drink and dance in the bar / lounge rooms.
Note: there is a separate (real) structure with a cafeteria-style food vendor, right next door, which everyone seems to say is quite ordinary (we did NOT eat here), and also this is where the bathrooms and lockers (for hotel guests) are located.More
