This hotel is well located in vieux Montreal - close to the basilica, shops, restaurants, and green space (we were traveling with our dogs). The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant a nice choice for drinks or a meal. Valet parking only. On the down side, room AC only cools to 19 C, about 66 F, bathrooms need updating. This hotel also put you in the middle of tons of people and a great deal of street noise.

Dear RGC_2011,

Thank you for taking the time to review your Saint-Sulpice experience.

I see you had a good stay, but not perfect. Indeed, especially in the summer months, Old Montreal is a very animated area.

Best regards,

Yanick B.

Arrive after a short drive from the rail station. Good welcome two porters outside to help with cases. Nice open reception area.
Booked this all suite hotel to get a bigger room at the end of our Eastern Canada trip and not disappointed. Room as advertised with modern bathroom fittings, settee, armchair, desk and chair, fireplace, small kitchen setup with sink, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and separate bedroom and window that opens for fresh air. Climate control in room very effective and responsive. Free WiFi. Turndown service each evening which leaves bottle of water for each guest.
This hotel is central in Old Montreal and walking distance to all Old Montreal sights.
Surrounded by places to visit, 200 yards from the bank of the St Lawrence river.
Concierge in hotel booked us a river trip and gave good advice to all our queries, great service.
Had free continental breakfast included in our room rate. Nice plate of fruit, yogurt and muesli, cheese slices, three small pastries and order of fruit juice plus unlimited coffee and tea. Set up for the start of the day.
Nice restaurant with fold back doors leading to tree shaded patio area. Did not have dinner here as seemed little under used when we were there but hotel had some corporate meetings when we were there and the restaurant was used to good effect and the restaurant atmosphere came alive. Outside the hotel too many types of restaurants to mention but the Montreal food is fantastic. Some of the best meals we have had. Hotel bar with sit up stools. Bottle of beer $6 to $9 cad.
Recommend restaurant Jardine Nelson for range of food and quality plus the jazz lunchtime or evening. About 500yds from hotel in Place Jacques Cartier.

Room tip: room facing the patio area of hotel

We loved everything about our stay here! The huge bathtub was so relaxing and housekeeping was A+! Would stay here again for sure. Modavie is a short walk for a delicious dinner.

Neighborhood is convenient and quiet. Our room was comfortable for 2 adults and 3 children. Staff went above and beyond. Kitchenette was useful and toiletries made us feel like we were at a spa!

When looking for a place to stay in the Old City, we found Le Saint-Sulpice. The hotel has the perfect location - next to Notre Dame Basillica and at the corner of Rue St. Paul Ouest. From the moment the valets met us at the curb, to the second we checked out, the staff was responsive and extremely helpful. Our room was near the elevator and ice machine, but we never heard any sound. The room (413) was a beautiful, spacious, modern yet comfortable suite. There was a separate seating area with built-in, push-button-start fireplace. There was a separate kitchenette with sink, Nespresso machine with pods, refrigerator and dishes/pans. The bed could be put into the wall if someone would require more space. There was a safe. The modern bathroom was a little low (low sink, low toilet), but it was an adjustment, not a problem. We were disappointed we only were staying two days.

Our stay in Montreal was very enjoyable as was our hotel. Le St. Sulpice is located in Old Montreal and is convenient to many sites and restaurants. The physical facility is attractive and the staff very helpful and accommodating. We had breakfast each morning in the restaurant off the lobby and is was very good each time. We highly recommend Le St. Sulpice
