I have visited this park a few times recently. Twice for running and once for a nature walk. There are so many beautiful things to see. We saw all kinds of birds and even a little snake. Great spots to take pictures and even for picnics. I do suggest bug spray if you are going early morning or later in the evening.

Great place to go for a walk, but I would suggest to wait a few more weeks since all the paths are very wet and muddy because of the snow that melted. You can always find free parking during weekends around the place so there is no need to pay for parking. A bistro, near the entrance, will open soon because right now it's missing a place where you can buy a coffee or something.

Parc-nature de l'Île-de-la-Visitation is a great place for a walk or a bike ride. Nature trails go through the woods and along the shore of the river. Many activities are organized for people of all ages.

In the western part of the park are the ruins of a mill complex. There is a café here.

The park is accessible by public transit.

This park is awesome so I'm surprised I didn't review them yet. Beautiful nature walks and different options, bike as well as walking trails and a chalet on one side so there are bathrooms. You can go in several different visits to see different sections and several different paths that one can switch between or choose a different one each time. There are many lovely views and benches throughout for picnics or for taking a break. There's a bridge over the river within the park too. A place to go over and over again for a relaxing walk. There is also municipal parking but you can usually park on the street for free.

Located on the island of Montreal, this peaceful refuge offers you a nice getaway moment. I took an hour walk by the river surrounded by nature. This is amazing since it is located in urban Montreal. After my walk I ventured on the shore side where the water level was low and was able to get close to numerous Canadian geese who were resting up before their departure for warmer days down South. There is a dedicated walking and hiking path as well as a dedicated bike path. Great outing for solo, couples or family. Found my spot to reconnect with nature. Can't wait to go back.
