Recently came back from a long trip to Tokyo and Kyoto in which I learnt what sushi is suppose to be like. Since then, I have been disappointed, even by plates of over +100$ in Montreal - cycled through all the overly hyped sushi places this city has to offer, but nothing came close to the real thing. Until now. The sushi prepared at Restaurant Kyoto is made by a chef that lived and worked +15 years in Kyoto. Meticulous preparation and the freshest and most tender pieces of fish make this the best sushi in the city. Despite the excellence of the food, the price is really very reasonable. If you wanna spend one evening in Japan, look no further. This restaurant is an absolute gem.
