We were craving tapas and searched online for what was close to where we were at the time. Found Cava online and decided to give it a try. Got there at 5:30 pm on a Friday night and there were already a few tables with guests. By the time we left, the place was packed. This is why they recommend reservations! The menu was a little confounding, even for pretty experienced foodies, however the server was knowledgeable and put together a great selection for us that was amazing. I suggest you do the same instead of trying to pick your own. He put together a menu of very different selections that had unique and amazing flavours. You must try the ham which is proudly displayed on the bar. They paired ours with a feature dish of white asparagus. One of the owners was there and checked in with us frequently which was awesome. Wines by the glass were great. Plan to spend a fair bit here. Our bill was $250 but well worth it and included several glasses of wine, lots of tapas and dessert. A wonderful night. Had we been with more people, it would have been great to try the paella. Maybe on our next visit!

Party of four attended for an intimate 50th birthday celebration and trusted Cava with their tasting menu. Everything was perfect despite the challenge of the birthday girl announcing that she had an aversion to onions...argh...at a tapas restaurant! Both the kitchen and our server handled everything in stride and produced 7 interesting and delicious dishes. Roasted sablefish and black rice was a table favourite as was the wheatberry salad. So grateful to have a restaurant of this calibre in our neighborhood!

Great tapas restaurant with romantic atmosphere, attentive service and very good food. Portions are tiny, so be prepared to spend a significant dollar or leave hungry. The Ceviche and Stuffed pepper were wonderful, but he Croquetee of Jamon and a couple of other choices were mediocre. Solid wine selection. A few tables sat empty for the entire evening, yet we were told we could only come for a very early dinner because they were booked, which was not the case at all.

This restaurant offers Spanish tapas updated with new ingredients and cooking techniques. We loved the Super Guilda, the avocado pinch, the Jamon croqueta, the roaster beets, and the grille octopus. Definitely worth trying if you like Spanish food.

Nice surprise that the food and service was excellent. Can't say that regarding many restaurants in the city. Note please, it's a tapas restaurant so portions are meant to be shared and are on the small side as the dinner is shareable. Lamb stew was excellent. Down side - pretty pricy - 2 drinks each, a few dishes, shared one dessert and a bill including tip was $180.00. Other than sticker shock, nice evening.
