Had the pleasure of dining here on the weekend during the Chinatown Festival. Simple, casual restaurant that isn't fancy or pretentious but just serves tasty, authentic Mexican food. I tried the chorizo and al pastor tacos and they left me wanting more. Flavourful tacos, packed with meat, cheese and love. The guacamole was very good as well but the chips were not the best. Too salty and tasted store bought. Finished off the meal with leche cake and Mexican coffee. A very satisfying experience and highly recommended!

We ordered the al pastor tacos. When it arrived to the table, you could see the care with which each was assembled. You could taste the fresh ingredients cilantro, pinapple, and chopped onion. A freshly homemade ice tea with hibiscus flower essence completed the authentic taste experience. I would highly recommend this family run establishment in Kensington Market.

Mexican cuisine was a 10/10. They served some real authentic tacos. I had the Tinga with shredded chicken. They were amazing. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. We had the nachos as well. They were loaded with tomatoes, onions and refried beans. SO good. Service was fine. Food was a good price. The patio was a bit small, but I guess it's because of the area. It's a good place to come to if you are in Kensington for the day.

Had the opportunity to sit and eat here during Pedestrian Sunday. Service on the patio was a bit slow. The pico and chips were decent. The tacos el pastor were good, but was disapointed they weren't cut off an actual trompo. They were reheated on the flattop. but this does not give the caramelization and dry bits that make al pastor so great. The jug of Hibiscus tea was really great on a hot day.

This is a family restaurant that serves up proper Mexican tacos, chased down with Mexican beer. The ladies serving the tables were super friendly and attentive. Our orders came quickly and the taco El Pastor was pretty good for outside Mexico City. This is a fun little restaurant with good food and good prices. Enjoy!
