Stayed at this hotel in July 2012. Its a beautiful hotel with friendly and very helpful, pleasant staff - I asked for my room to be changed due to the construction noise and they gladly accomodated my request. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and kept very clean. The location is quiet good-very near the congress centre , CN tower and abt 15min walk from the harbour front -also had restuarants nearby. The breakfast every morning was good - and there were different things each morning. Would recommend this hotel for a stay in Toronto

Room Tip: There is contruction going on practically everywhere in Toronto - so ask for a quiet room away from...

My company had a negotiated rate on a one-bedroom suite, but even at the normal price, our living situation would have been worth it. Residence Inn is great. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the walls are thick, the water pressure in the showers is very strong, there’s plenty of hot water, the windows have darkeners, the breakfast is varied, healthy, and complimentary, and the staff is personable, helpful, and of good cheer. We rented a rollaway for $25 (for the entire stay), as the sleeper sofa was an oxymoron. Management upgraded us to two-bedroom suite (800 m2) and we had an extra real bed to boot. The kitchen is, of course, a nice addition for those nights you would rather avoid the restaurant scene.

Location is great if you want to be near CN Tower and the Rogers stadium (Blue Jays tickets are as low as $11). Next time, I would rely on public transportation, as walking in Toronto even from this hotel is a grind. Too much noise, construction, and stress.

But the hotel is really a find. Compared to the Westin Harbour Castle where I had to move later in my stay for work purposes, Residence Inn was head and shoulders better. Sure, the pool was smaller and there was no health club, but you didn’t have to pay $14.95 for internet, $30 per breakfast, or $2 for local calls either.

If you have a family in tow, this is by far the better choice.

I stayed for 5 nights and was very impressed, a great hotel, within walking distance of everything you need in downtown Toronto.

Very spacious room and really clean. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding, every interaction with a staff member was positive and friendly.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with all the amenities you would need.

The only problem I had, was that in parts of the room I would lose wireless connectivity, It may have been that I was in a corner room and far away from an antenna, I am not sure. At the desk the wireless connectivity was stable.

I would undoubtedly stay at this property again and would recommend it to others looking for a downtown Toronto hotel.

Loved this hotel...stay in a lot of Marriotts and this is one of the nicer ones as it appears to be relatively new. Studio room was large and clean. Chose this hotel for the kitchen and wasn't disappointed as it comes with a full-size refrigerator. Also appreciate the free wi-fi and breakfast as these services are not included in the regualar Marriott hotels in downtown Toronto and the daily rate is about the same. Very convenient to walk everywhere except Yorkville where you need to take the subway. (Toronto's subway is pretty expensive...we only needed to use it once and it was 3 CDN per person) Nice Paul Mitchell amenities in bathroom. Asked for extra towels and received them with no problem. Our room was very quiet. I'm not sure why some people describe the breakfast area as small as I thought it was one of the larger ones I have seen. The breakfast was fantastic...lots of hot and cold foods with a variety of beverages. The people bussing the tables were very efficient. Parking was expensive at 35 CDN for valet parking but this is normal for a large city. We tried the surface lot that someone else recommended. If you don't arrive at just the right time you end up paying about the same. It's only 10 CDN for certain hours during the day. We arrived at 3 P.M., paid 30 CDN and had to be out of the lot by noon the next day as there was a Blue Jays baseball game that day. We moved our car to the hotel and used the valet parking as it includes in and out privileges. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
