My first time staying in Toronto and was thrilled with the Soho Metropolitan. The service, decor, rooms, and overall value make it probably the best hotel I've stayed in (non-resort) in a few years. Their attention to detail from check-in to check-out was impressive.

There was one negative which despite being a "small" item, it was concerning for me. Their wifi is near impossible to use given a very weak signal. Since I was there on business, I was unable to get work done from my room the first day/night; however they did send an engineer to the room who was able to make a slight improvement in the connection. Seems like a simple fix of their wifi, and this luxury, boutique hotel will be a 10 out of 10 which I look forward to visiting again.

Thanks for a great stay!

This is an excellent downtown hotel, in the same league as Le Germaine which is a short walk away. I typically compare prices at both of these hotels and choose the cheaper one - other than price! both hotels are comparable in quality and service (note that Le Germaine includes breakfast in their price). The rooms are well designed, contemporary and elegant. The amenities are consistent with everything one would expect in a hotel of this class. Attached to the hotel is a fine cafe named SEN5ES (the 5 is not a typo!) that serves breakfast and light meals. Service is excellent. Highly recommended.

The SOHO is a fantastic hotel with a great location. It's small enough to feel exclusive, with fabulous rooms, great service and a wonderful bar. Would highly recommend - great for couples getaway!

Yes, I've been to this Hotel twice in a year - it's great. Professionally managed with a super central location. The beds are "sink into" (if that makes sense). Staff are lovely, professional yet not snotty and cannot do enough for you. It's just a fantastic place and definitely worth the extra,

We stayed in This hotel for almost a month during our first trip to Toronto. we booked a 1 bedroom furnished apartment there. Very nice place. Great location next to a small park where my daughter loved watching the dogs playing and the squirrels running :) bars, restaurants and Ontario lakes 10 minutes walking distance, CN Tower and Rogers center even closer. during our stay Snoop Dog was staying there as well as another young american celebrity who personally I don't know but lots of teenagers where waiting on the door!
the reservation manager was very helpful and prompt and the staff were very nice as well.
the beds were very comfortable and the apartment very cozy and nicely furnished.
lots of restaurants nearby but our favorite was Kora (breakfast specialist) across the street.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to see the Toronto downtown mainly walking and if you are looking for a cozy place to do so!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with CN tower view
