We visited this awesome facility mid-afternoon on a Friday. I have to admit, this was the best time to visit, if you have the ability to schedule it. There were no lines, and we were able to spend lots of time with all of the displays, AND with the Stanley Cup (I even got to take a "selfie" with it).
As a long-time hockey fan, and one that has also enjoyed playing the sport...this is truly an amazing experience. We saw people of all ages (from seniors to young kids) enjoying the interactive displays, and pointing out the players that were their favorites over the years.
They do a great job here with the displays and the presentation of materials (especially with the trophies in the bank room, and the special goalie masks feature). Definitely make this a "must do" on your trip to Toronto...and go on Friday afternoon if you want to avoid the lines.
