I was wowed by Kevin and The Old Rectory. My husband and I planned a romantic getaway and we were lucky to book a room on such short notice. Everything from Kevin's welcoming demeanor to the lovely parlour with homemade biscotti to the exquisitely made breakfast to the vast aray of books made me feel pampered. This was my first experience at a B & B, and it was charming. Kevin even offered to make restaurant reservations for us for the following night. I do have to add that we were big fans of Rene's Bistro. The service and food were impeccable. We walked to Rene's, as well as to the other restaurants, shops and theatres from The Old Rectory. Never once did we use our car during our stay. The only downside of our stay was that we stayed in room #5, which is on the main floor. It was close to the parlour and the main entrance. Incredibly convenient. However, it was also next to the kitchen and opposite to the dining room where breakfast is served. Coffee and tea service start early. Breakfast is offered between 8 am and 10 am. I had hoped to sleep in, but we are very light sleepers. With the hussle and buzzle of the breakfast prep, it's challenging to stay asleep. But honestly, the wonderful breakfast Kevin had prepared more than made up for the early wake up call.
I would absolutely stay at The Old Rectory again. Great intro to B & B's for us. Thank you Kevin!

No better around the world! Gourmet breakfast by Kim and Kevin. Great location, private when you want to be private, friendly when you want to be friendly! Hope you are able to visit. Close enough to walk everywhere, private parking, help with whatever you may need, just let them help you!

Room Tip: Just bring yourself! No noise. Simply ask!

are comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfasts are marvelous with fresh fruit, special baked goods, home made jams, and great hot dishes... Today was waffles, yesterday cheese souffles. They take great care of their guests - helping with restaurant reservations, providing a lot of tea brewed from one of the two overly tea shops in town, and helping with the luggage from your car to room - and, sadly back again when it is time to leave. Location is in easy walking distance to all the theatres - we often don't drive the car for our entire visit. You can't pick a better place in Stratford.

Kim and Kevin always maintain the most comfortable property, provide the most delicious and plentiful breakfast, and constantly seek ways to improve the comfort of everyone's stay.
Nicer than home away than home!! That is why we have been staying there for over 19 years,

Room Tip: A couple rooms have a porch. Nice touch Sunroom Room on first floor for those who have ambulating problems

We now go to the Old Rectory to stay at a great B&B and then manage to go to a few shows while we're there. It's that good. Kim and Kevin are delightful hosts and will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The food is A++++ and the rooms are nice. We look forward to next year.
