Description: Hillebrand Winery Restaurant celebrates the relationship between our land, our people, our wines and our food. Chef Frank Dodd showcases locally inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the bounty of Niagara Wine Country, and Winemaker Craig McDonald pairs them with wines made from grapes that grow in the same soil. Extend your stay in Wine Country, and allow us to arrange a private tasting in our Collector's Boutique or another Winery Experience prior to your meal.

We stopped here for lunch. The food was very good, I had the fish and chips, but we felt it was a little pricey. It is a very upscale setting and service was good, however for lunch it was little over the top.

I went with 2 friends and it was very reasonable and lots of fun. Went on the Brut tour and it was interesting and the wine was quite delicious

Such a beautiful facilty! Our experience at Trius was delightful. Brandan was extremely helpful and knowledgable. We aren't from the region but will be sure to come back our next time in wine country!

I went to trius today with my sister and cousin and had the worst customer service! We went to the patio and waited for the server to acknowledge us, nothing, so we seated ourselves. there was a table set for two so we were wanting to pull up a third chair. The server that was cleaning a table directly beside us said absolutely nothing not even a hello until we started moving a chair. Said we needed to go back inside to see the hostess before we could sit down. The hostess barely said hello after giving us the side eye and telling us they’re not offering dinner or lunch menus and all they have is apps and that she won’t bother seating us if that’s not what we want. We were fine with apps and we asked to sit outside and somewhere with sun. Very curtly she responded I’ll see what’s available. Clearly we were outside first since we came through the back door and knew what was available. She pointed at two tables and said you can either sit here or there. Thank goodness our waiter was nice because the majority of their staff need to take the brooms out of their butts. I know we’re young (30’s) but that doesn’t give you lisence to judge us or be rude. Upon leaving the hostess didn’t even look up at us to say thank you or goodbye, I think some training is needed. Don’t judge a book by its cover, just because we’re young doesn’t mean we don’t know how to tip, the least you could do is treat us like human beings.

We visited Trius late on a Tuesday afternoon. We were lucky enough to have Louis as our tasting guide. Not only was he knowledgeable he was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. He gave us a little history of the winery, the area and himself. This winery is a "must" if you are in Ontario!
