You must cant imagine how beautiful all of the plantings are along the Parks Garden Trail. The hanging baskets and the street plantings are just out of this world. Worth the trip to NOTL just to see their plantings and to ride the trail.

The trail wends along the Niagara River from Fort Erie by Niagara Falls to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The part north of Niagara Falls is the most spectacular as it goes by the gorge, the giant whirlpool, the gardens, hydro electric plants and down the escarpment to the lower Niagara. One passes by wineries and vinyards on the way to historic Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The Niagara Parks Garden Trail is a great place to connect to nature and enjoy the beauty of the area. The flower gardens and landscaping are wonderful especially in the summer time when everything is in full bloom. We enjoyed it a lot!

The flowers were galore, all over the place and beautiful to look at. People were taking a lot of pictures of family and friends.

It was a beautiful day and the gardens were lovely. They had a small section of the gardens cornered off as they were filming a television show. We should have asked what it was. Some unusual plants, some of which we have never seen and were impressed. It was peaceful. We wish we hadn't arrived late as we wanted to also go to the Butterfly museum.

If you are in Niagara on the Lake it is worth checking out all the beautiful flowers that line the streets. They are HUGE!

There are plenty to see and lots of places to sit and marvel at the nature.

Great. Just great. A perfect long wide walkway all along the river and falls. We went both daytime, and again for the free 10 pm fireworks. We parked effectively in town toward NE side, and about 1 block in from the river, for about $3 per hour at a public lot. I think it's at John St. and Blondin. A very nice round-trip walk from there and would recommend it. Pay $9 for 3 hours and you're good.

We have visited Niagara Falls this rainy day of August. Anything to describe is beyond words. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful flowers around the area. The falls is an attraction beyond expectations or something to imagine but to see it alive. The falls are drawing you inside to swim, which is definitely out of the question. Many hotels around, along with a store for tourist shopping.

We spent the night in Niagara Falls to see them lit at night and then the next morning biked a section of this trail between Niagara Falls and Fort George. It is a very nice trail and not a lot of traffic, at least not in the mid-morning hours that we biked.
