I found this hotel via a hotel booking site and was intrigued by the positive reviews of the hotel since it was renovated in 2017. We were attendign a concert at Fallsview Casino and didn't want to make the trek back to the GTA afterwards. We were pleasantly surprised with the value and room size that was offered. The staff were very friendly at both check-in and check-out as well. The only complaint I have is that they need to work on the sound-proofing with regards to the doors. When we went to bed, you could clearly see light penetrating around the door from the hallway lights and I knew that sound would pass through as well. We also were next to the elevators so it didn't help the matter, we could hear conversations word for word. All they need to do is add some weather-stripping around the doors. If I were staying a second night I would have went out and bought some and installed it. To future travellers, to reduce the noise, ask to not be assigned a room ending in 06 (they are next to the elevator shaft).
It would also be nice to see the restaurant renovated - we were impressed with the overall quality of the food considering it was a buffet.More
