Walking into Shakespeare is like walking back into the 1960's and 70's. The décor has not changed much nor has the service. Now that presentation has become a prerequisite for fine dining, the chef made an attempt but just missed the mark. We had the Table d'Hote menu which included appetizer, entrée and dessert..a good value but not fine dining. The service was the only redeeming feature. Waiters, like those of old , were attentive and responsive. The soft lighting, too, was a welcome feature since it enhances one's appearance.
