The Halliburton is well situated in Halifax within easy walking of the waterfront and town. There were lots of local places to eat.
The continental breakfast was a disappointment compared the the excellent food provided in the evening. We tried their speciality scallops and they wee the best we had during our stay in the maritimes

We found the Halliburton to be very conveniently located for visiting the sights of Halifax. Our nicely furnished room faced the street but we weren't bothered by any noise. As a heritage property there are no lifts but the helpful staff were on hand to help with luggage so we didn't find this to be a problem. The buffet breakfast offered was of a good standard. Would stay again.

Stopped here two nights , decent buffet breakfast , small courtyard for drinks , four or five places within five minutes walk to eat though english pub round the corner turned out to be the best though in ten minutes you can walk to the waterfront and 20 minutes to the central district. Parking was a plus , for a centrally located spot thought that price was reasonable and staff very helpful given I arrived from London with no luggage it having gone to Brussels !

Room Tip: Rooms at back quieter but ours overlooked the street and we were there sat and sunday and noise no p...

The is a very nice boutique hotel. The staff is VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.

THERE IS NO ELEVATOR - if you have a problem with stairs request a room on the lowest level. Although there is someone to help carry your luggage, constantly going up and down can be hard.

The Continental breakfast was quite nice and far above the usual fare that you see at other hotels.

The rooms are very nice, the beds comfortable and very clean.

We got this hotel "on sale", so it was a good value, and it was nice to be so close to everything. I also appreciated the on site parking. Our room was street level, but we didn't hear much noise. May have been because the AC's white noise blocked it, but I liked not having to go up and down all the stairs. The ceiling in the stairwell going down was REALLY low, so tall people shouldn't stay down below!

The room was large, reasonably furnished, and well maintained. I don't have any complaints, I just didn't feel it was all that special really. Just a mid-range hotel, though it really felt more like staying at a condo, since we were so far removed from the lobby.
